It’s Purim! And, tonight, before we went to the Purim Service at Temple, Emily went through her costume bin in the basement. She used to be the dress-up queen — EVERY night she’d dress up and play. She’s outgrown most of that these days, and I have a little heart sigh when I think about those as days gone by. So, I’m pulling up this layout I made a while ago — with some papers I loved from a kit from Cut the Crop.
This particular day, Emily put on the costume she hadn’t worn in about a year — and we went outside on the first warm day of Spring — and had a ball! She played the role of Snow White over and over. She also let me take her picture — something else she usually didn’t let me do. It is still one of my most-favorite red letter days. We had such a great time, and I snapped some of my most-favorite pictures of her!
