Hey y’all. It’s been ages since I’ve found time to play and participate in one of Becky’s PageMaps contest. And when better to make time than on a wintery Saturday when two new collections of Basic Grey are up for grabs? I am lovin’ Sugar Rush!!!
I had printed these photos out for her last contest — the page call, but didn’t use them. So — I resized them a bit and used them with some old (but awesome) October Afternoon papers. I used stamps from Technique Tuesday and Close to My Heart (and their inks and ric rack as well) and carstock from Archivers and Bazzill. What else? Oh yeah — these woolies from Basic Grey that I had to buy the moment I saw them, and American Crafts thickers (I am addicted to these).
Funny story with Emily’s first lost tooth: she waited and waited to lose it. When she finally did she was SO proud and excited. However, when it came time to put it under her pillow for the tooth fairy, she didn’t want to give it up. My dear daughter (the pack rat) wanted to write a letter to the tooth fairy, saying “Thanks for coming by, but your services aren’t required this evening. I will let you know when I am ready for you to come back by and take my tooth.” So that’s exactly what we did. And, over two months later, the tooth still sits in a box on her nightstand. She has 4 more that are loose, and I have no idea what will happen next time.
Thanks for stopping by!
