I have been scrapping, in some form or another most of my life. I began creating books about me and my friends in school. The hobby died down for a while, post-college, pre-child. During that time, I really got into rubber stamping and card making.
When I got married, I picked the scrapping hobby back up and began creating albums. Now that I’ve got a daughter, I scrap regularly. It wasn’t until about 2005 that I put all my stamping supplies with all my scrapping supplies and began integrating the two. Stamping is a regular feature on my pages now. I love how I can customize a page to be anything I need/want with the help of some ink and stamps.
By day, I am a graphic designer. I enjoy the creative process really from start to finish. I scrap for me and to tell my stories. I want my daughter to remember all the fun she had growing up (which is happening entirely too fast.) Like my professional life, my hobby tends to follow the same mantra: clean, simple and geometric.
My weakness is popcorn, ice-cream and chick flicks. And honestly: I haven’t figured out yet if blogging is something I really want to do…
